Development and Delivery of a Workplace Strategy and Design for the Flexible Workspace initiative

We were appointed by this large global defence contractor to develop a new workplace environment for their office accommodation across their UK Portfolio. The project required our team of experts to challenge the current ‘traditional’ approach previously adopted by their business both from a design and management perspective.

We adopted our proven methodology, founded on a comprehensive programme of engagement to understand and capture the business activities, team culture, core business processes and current ways of working. The engagement was managed through surveys, key stakeholder interviews, visioning workshops with senior managers and team workshops, attended by a range of representatives from across the business.

Building on the rich data sourced during the stakeholder engagement and workplace studies we developed, through co-design principles, a future workplace solution that provides an environment that is aligned to and supports the effective delivery of the clients business activities.

Following the successful implementation of the pilot project for the Sales and Business Development function we have rolled out a further 5 projects, working across their three campuses within the UK. 

One such project includes the production of a Style Guide & Corporate Standards document, to assist the clients technical & delivery teams with the level of information necessary to develop & deliver consistent future workplace environments within MBDA UK, following the concept & design planning stages.

We continue to support this client and over 3,500 employees.
