Developing a new workplace solution for PrintCity and InnoSpace at the University.

Manchester Metropolitan University appointed iPWC to develop a workplace strategy and concept design solution on behalf of their business incubator and digital manufacturing divisions ahead of their pending move to the MTC from their incumbent business location at Turing House.

Specifically, the client brief required our team to produce a RIBA Stage 0-2 Feasibility report that would form the basis of a detailed workplace brief for the new accommodation that could be developed and delivered by an appointed design team / D&B contractor.

We adopted our proven methodology, probing and collaborating with key project stakeholders to understand and capture team culture, core business processes, and current ways of working. Activities included 1 to 1 interviews, visioning workshops with senior managers, and team workshops, attended by a range of representatives from across the business.

The outcome of our comprehensive programme of engagement was a future workplace solution that aligned perfectly with the effective delivery of the client's existing business activities and aspirational growth.
